Walter White May Return Teases 'Breaking Bad' Star Bryan Cranston

Its been long hinted at that Walter White may return in the Breaking Bad prequel/spin-off Better Call Saul. But we'll see him at a time in his life before he was the king of all meth dealers. And before he met his timely demise in the show's series finale. While creator Vince Gilligan confirmed shortly after that episode aired that Heisenberg was, in fact, dead, no doubt about it, star Bryan Cranston is now teasing that the iconic character may have actually lived, and that we could see him again at some point down the road.

Continuing to do press for his summer smash hit blockbuster Godzilla, CNN asked Bryan Cranston if Walter White actually died at the end of the series finale, since we never see him close his eyes. This, despite the fact that he has been shot through the abdomen and is riddled with cancer. Contemplating the idea, this is what Bryan Cranston had to say:

"Hey, you never saw a bag zip up or anything."

Reporter Ashleigh Banfield continued to press the actor, asking if Walter White might return in a movie. He doesn't give a definite no...

"I don't know...Never say never..."

Should Walter White stay dead? While its unlikely that we'll see the continuing adventures of Heisenberg any time in the near future, we will most likely see him again, if only for a brief moment, when Better Call Saul debuts this fall on AMC.
